When I was a little girl, Uncle Bud called Janice, Judy and I, Jim, Jack, and Joe. So we called him Uncle Betty.

When my mom was born, Uncle Bud looked at her and declared her name, Marjorie Marie, was too long. He was therefore going to call her Marj Mike. Uncle Duddly said, well then, you are Uncle Bud. Uncle Bud replied, if I am Uncle Bud, then you are Uncle Duddly! The names stuck.
