My cousin invited me to this wikiTree, he added me with the wrong spelling, Now I'm being known here as Auther-7 and I don't know how to edit it to change it, and when I try it doesn't change, this for me will lead me to the wrong relatives that aren't mine, I'd like to find my real relatives known as Arthur. If someone could help me with this I would appreciate it, At this time I'm stuck, I am not Caerlion (Auther) Arthur :-( I am just Caerlion Arthur

Hi Caerlion,

I noticed your question on how to change your Last Name at Birth (LNAB). None of your Greeters were notified because it is a new comment rather than a reply to one of your messages.

To change Authur to Arthur, click the Edit tab on your profile. Scroll down to the incorrect spelling in the LNAB field and click the "edit" link beside it. A new page will open where you can input the correct spelling. You will be asked for a reason and can say something like you did when you explained above. Then click "Correct the Last Name at Birth" in the dark green box.

Please do use the reply button to let any of us know if you have any questions about how WikiTree works, even if they seem minor. My rule of thumb when I started was to search for an answer for five minutes, then reach out to my Greeters, and then resume searching. I might have found the answer before they got back to me but they sometimes offered a different way of doing the same thing which was easier. We are always here to help.
