William H Autry was born about 1808 in North Carolina, the son of Newsom and Nancy (Pharis) Autry.[1]

William married [2] Jane Riley 20 Aug 1830 in Cumberland, North Carolina.

Among his children with Jane Riley were:

  3. James L Autry[3][4] who married Tompsey Culbreth[5]
  4. Rachel Autry[3][4]
  5. David Autry[3][4]
  6. Phebe Autry[3][4]

William married [6] Charlotte Ryals 10 Mar 1859, in Cumberland, North Carolina, United States.

Among his children with Charlotte Ryals were:

  1. Nancy Autry[4][7]
  2. Rhoner Autry[7]

In 1870, he was living in Dismal Township, Sampson County, and later died about 1878, and was buried in Autryville, Sampson, North Carolina.[8][9]
