In 1005, a major restoration was carried out by Odo and his wife Ermengard. [2]
Research Notes
In his article "The Family of Countess Ermengarde of Auvergne"[3], Baldwin agreed with the theory of Thierry Stasser. This was based on the 1115 letter of Yves de Chartres[4], which gave the lineage of Havoise from Blanche and stating that countess Ermengarde was the daughter of Ermengarde of Auvergne.

Bonjour.
Auvergne-68 and Auvergne-52 appear to represent the same person because: Auvergne-52 previously had a birth year of 994 (see change history). This birth year removed due to error generated when she was wrongly attached to Gilbert Venables-25. In reality she should have been detached to correct the error, as Gilbert's wife is unknown. These two profiles are clearly intended to represent the same person. Please merge.
This person does not exist or is being confused with Auvergne-68. Several published sources like The History of the County Palatine of Chester refer to Venables-25 (Gilbert) as a younger brother of Stephen or Thibault de Blois whose mother was Auvergne-68. (Ermengarde). However, not all scholars agree on Venables-25's parents.
Anvergne-1 and Auvergne-68 appear to represent the same person because: Slight difference in birth and death dates, but relationships means this is intended to be the same person. She comes from the Auvergne family and Auvergne-68 is the correct LNAB, Anvergne must be a mistake.
Auvergne-68 and Anjou-307 appear to represent the same person because: Same person, please merge. Father appears to be Robert de Auvergne, d 1032. So Auvergne-68 should be final.
