Dearest Cousin Rue, I looked at your tree and we are related through my Grandmother Jessie Joy (Avant) Bassett, It would be a pleasure to get to know you. My dad Albert was the second boy born to my Grandmother out of 13 kids. my father and my grandparents are now since gone, but If you like I have a Facebook page dedicated to the Avant family.
