Biography
William Avery was born on July 28, 1894 in Tomkins Cove, New York to William Avery and Josephine Stout.[1]
In 1900, William lived with his parents and siblings in Stony Point, New York.[2]
On July 6, 1919, William married Philippa Defede in Tomkins Cove, New York.[3]
William died on March 16, 1951 in the Bronx, New York. An unsourced obituary on Find a Grave shows that he died in the Kingsbridge Veterans Hospital in the Bronx.[4]
He is buried in the Mount Repose Cemetery in Haverstraw, New York.[4]
