This Isaac Avery was born 14 Jan 1777 at Groton North Parish (now Ledyard), Connecticut, third child (son) of Lucy (Swan) Avery (1750-) & Isaac Avery (1747-1827).

He married 27 Apr 1800 @ Stonington, Connecticut, Tabitha Wheeler [b. 2 Apr 1786 @ Stonington, CT, daughter of Paul & Mary (Wheeler) Wheeler]; they had 4 children:

  1. Tabitha Avery (1801-)
  2. Lucy Ann Avery (8 May 1804 - Dec 1807)
  3. Isaac Wheeler Avery (1806-abt.1841); married Mary Moore King
  4. Charles Avery (1806-)

Isaac Avery died 14 Apr 1810.
