Henry Avery was determined to be the father of Bettie Mitchell through mapping numerous DNA matches via Ancestry.com, 23andMe, FTDNA and GEDmatch.com to his direct descendants as well as to his Cutts, Avera/Avery and Ingram ancestors in Hale and Bibb Co, AL and back to Johnston County, NC.
Thank you to Timothy Wells for creating WikiTree profile Avery-1229 through the import of My-Family-6-Feb-2013.ged on Feb 6, 2013.
