Biography

Ruth Avery, born 26 Jul 1715 at Truro, Massachusetts, was a daughter of Ruth (Little) Avery (1686-1732) & John Avery (1686-1754). She may have carried the middle name Jerusha [1]. Her baptism was conferred 31 JUL 1715 at Truro [[1]].

She married 6 Sep 1733 at Plympton, Massachusetts, Jonathan Parker [2]. Jonathan and Ruth (Avery) Parker had the following (5) children:[3]

  1. Ruth, born 15 July 1734; married John Bishop
  2. Jonathan, born 25 August 1736
  3. John Avery, born 10 December 1738; died 25 September 1740
  4. Elizabeth, born 6 April 1741; died 7 May 1743
  5. Avery, born 19 July 1743
