Biography
This Prudence Avery was born 23 Oct 1763, daughter of Samuel Avery & Mary (Barnes) Avery, his first wife.
Prudence married first James Starkweather, son of Robert & Sarah (Colby) Starkweather, about 1752 at New London, CT - parents of Joseph Starkweather.
After the death of James she married Isaac Herrick - their children included Avery, James W., David, Mary "Polly", Rufus, Horace, Asa, Woodbury, Justus Tyler and Augustus Woodbury (twins), and Jonathan E. Herrick.
She passed away in 1841 and is buried at Locust Grove Cemetery, Twinsburg, Summit, OH. [1]
