Biography
Anna Avery was born 15 Jan 1744, the 5th child of Benjamin Avery (1693-1772) & Thankful Avery (1718-1814).
She married Griswold Avery, with whom she had 5 children (birth dates not fully evident, not necessarily in this order):
- Griswold Avery (1765-1842); married Lucretia Chadwick Miller
- Guerdon Avery (1768-1850); married Eunice Powers
- Anna (Avery) Powers; married Joseph Powers
- Polly (Avery) Steward; married Daniel Steward
- Charles Avery; married Lucy Griffing
Anna Avery died 6 Oct 1833 at Waterford, Connecticut. Her grave is in East Neck Cemetery, Waterford, New London County, Connecticut, USA [1].
