Biography

Youngs Avery was born in 1767 to parents Parke Avery Jr. and Hannah Morgan. In 1787 he would marry Eunice Latham and they were the parents of seven children. Both Youngs and Eunice were the children of Revolutionary War officers who were both wounded and survived the massacre known as the Battle of Groton Heights. Youngs died in 1837.
