Helen Avery, b. 11 Nov 1812 at Ulysses, NY, was the eleventh and final child of Sarah (Brooks) and Isaac Avery.
She married:
- 1) 18 Nov 1830 in Shelby County, IN, Thomas Rufus E. Davis; they had 3 children who all died in infancy
- 2) 14 Oct 1841 @ Exeter, IL, Alexander Leslie Underwood [b. 21 Jun 1814 @ Hardwick, VT, son of Silas & Lucy Underwood; d. 5 Mar 1870 @ St. Paul, IN]; they had 6 children, 4 of whom died in infancy
