Leutheur (also spelled Leuthenia) Avery, born 23 Sep 1803 @ Montgomery, Massachusetts, was the seventh child of Susanna (Chapman) Avery (abt.1758-1852) and Ephraim Avery (abt.1762-1850).

She married 6 Mar 1821 @ Montgomery, Massachusetts, Hiram Hatch [b. 28 Feb 1802 @ Montgomery, MA]. They had 5 children, their first two born at Norwich, the others at Westfield, Massachusetts:

  1. Duane Hiram Hatch (1823-); married: 1) Mary Ann Sheldon; 2) Carrie Nichols
  2. Delos Hiram Hatch (1825-); married Frances Brown
