Biography
Mary Avery, born 4 Mar 1809 at Groton, Connecticut, was the sixth child of Mercy (Allyn) Short (abt.1769-1849) and James Avery (1769-).
She married 9 Jul 1826 @ Southwick, Massachusetts, John Noble [b. 27 Apr 1803 @ Southwick, MA, son of Timothy & Sally (Taylor) Noble]; they had 2 children:
- Mary Genet Noble, b. Sept. 10, 1828, at West Suffield; died young
- Henry Stiles Seymour Noble, b. 17 Feb 1832; married Augusta W. Brooks
Mary (Avery) Noble died 28 May 1834 at West Suffield, Connecticut. Her grave is in Zions Hill Cemetery, Suffield, Hartford County, Connecticut, USA [1].
