Biography
Eliza was born about 1814. She was the daughter of Gilbert Avery and his second wife, Sophia Bushnell. She was raised at the Shaker communities, first at Enfield, Connecticut, then westward to New York State.
She passed away in 1886 at the Shaker community near Lebanon, NY.
