Biography
This Amos Avery was born 18 Aug 1834 at Groton, New York, the fifth child of Oliver Avery and Hannah Webb.
American Civil War service: Amos Avery served 3 years in the Union Army during the Civil War, New York State Volunteers, Co. C, 76th; Co. F, 109th.
He married 18 Nov 1868 @ Dryden, New York, Caroline M. Perrigo [b. 18 Aug 1842 @ Virgil, NY, daughter of John & Elizabeth (Mudge) Perrigo]; they had no children.
Amos Avery died in 1903 at Groton, New York. His grave is in Groton Rural Cemetery, Groton, Tompkins County, New York, USA [1].
