Note spelling of given name Alethea per The Groton Avery Clan. This contrasts with the name on her grave marker, Althea.
Alethea Avery married James Allyn 17 December 1729 in Groton, New London County, Connecticut Colony.[1] They had 12 children, all born at Groton.
Althea (Avery) Allyn passed away circa Feb 1776 in Ledyard, New London County, Colony of Connecticut. Her grave is in Allyn-Spicer Cemetery, Ledyard, New London County, Connecticut, USA [2].
