Eliza was born in 1843. She was the daughter of John Avery and Charlotte Davis. She passed away in 1919.
Eliza was baptised on 17 March 1844 at District of Clarence River, NSW. The baptism register recorded her birth date 4 December 1843 and her parents' names John "Every" and Charlotte Davis, and that her father was a sawyer, abode Clarence River.[1]
Eliza Avery married John Clark, a sawyer, on 14 November 1864 at Myall School, Myall River, in a C of E ceremony. Eliza marked the register with a cross. They were bachelor and spinster, and no ages or parents' names were recorded in the register. Eliza's brother William Avery and his wife Margaretta Avery were witnesses.[2]
