Biography
When Maria Francisca de Paula Avila was born on April 3, 1807, in Pueblo, Colorado, her father, Antonio, was 26, and her mother, Rosa, was 17. She married Jose Antonio Andres Sepulveda on June 24, 1825, in Alta, California. They had 13 children in 23 years. She died in 1880 in San Gabriel, California, at the age of 73, and was buried in Los Angeles, California.
