Hi Audrey Jacqueline,

I’ve not heard back from you so presume you don’t want to continue in the Canada Project at this time so have gone ahead and removed your badge. If that changes anytime you would be most welcome to re-join in the future.

Hi Audrey Jacqueline,

I haven’t yet heard back from you to say whether or not you’d like to continue in the Canada Project. Please can you let me know if you’d like to stay, what team(s) you’d like to be in, and let me know your e-mail address so I can add you to the project Google Group? If I haven’t heard back from you by this time next week I’ll assume you no longer want to be in the project and go ahead and remove you. You would, of course, be most welcome to re-join at any time.

Many thanks,

Susie

Hi AudreyJacqueline,

Greg Lavoie, Dave Rutherford and I have put a lot of work into restructuring the Canada Project. Have a look at the new project page.

You'll see that we've changed the project name to the Canada Project and the badge will be changed shortly. We've done this in order to provide lots of ways for people to contribute to Canadian Profiles. We've also moved towards a team approach with top level teams being lead by Project Coordinators and sub-teams being lead by Team Leaders.

Would you like to continue in the Canada Project, and if so, which team(s) would you like to be on?

Let me know if you have any questions. Once I hear back from you I'll add you to the Google group and get you set up in your team(s).

Hi Audrey Jacqueline,

Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for becoming pre-1700 certified and for your involvement in the Canadian History and European Aristocrats Projects. Thanks for all your contributions.

Warm wishes, Susie

Hi Audrey,

I saw your note on John Baynard's profile. According to the sources on his profile, John had six children. Only one currently has a connected profile. The best way to get connected to him would be to start with the family tree that you are currently building and continue to work backward. Make sure to add your sources on each profile so that when you get there, making the connection will be easy.

Let me know if you have any questions about how WikiTree works.

Hi !

Thanks for joining us! I’m David, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.

Did you have fun learning your way around WikiTree?

I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Do you have any questions I can answer?

Thank you, David ~ WikiTree Mentor

Hello Again,

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?

I want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Cindy ~ WikiTree Messenger

PS Good work so far! Have you noticed on your ancestor profiles on bottom right is "Research" where you can get sources and more information? Give it a try! For profiles for living people, just go to this link. RootsSearch

Hi Audrey,

The best way I found so far is just create profiles for your family (Mother, Father, Grandfathers) as far back as you know. If the profiles already exist Wikitree will inform you. I initially created a profile for myself and father and Wikitree told me that they already existed, my Grandmother had created them so I just merged my profile and the one made for me together. It is all a process but you will get the hang of it. The next stage is hunt for ancestors, this may take some time.

Hi Audrey,

Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.

Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.

Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.

Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.

Ludwig :)
