Biography
Katherine born 1870 was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Awbrey (1835-1925) and Willie (Patillo) Awbrey (abt.1840-bef.1872).
In the 1880 census Kate (age 11), Home, was the single daughter of undefined in Precinct 2, Burleson, Texas, United States.[1]
1st Marriage: Kate married J L Norcross on 18 February 1891 in Burleson, Texas, United States.[2] Their children are:
- Aaron Leroy Norcross (1893-1968)
- Amos Pryor Norcross (1895-1962)
- Awbrey Norcross born 1899; died May 1914
2nd Marriage: FamilySearch has a record of a second marriage to 6 February 1925 to Charles L. Davis.[3] No source is provided. The marriage is supported by her Find A Grave memorial and the 1930 US Census.
In the 1930 census Kate Davis was listed as a wife in the household of Charlie L Davis on Tarver St, San Angelo, Tom Green, Texas, United States.[4]
She passed away in 25 Jan 1935. [5]
