In 1909 John married Elizabeth Charlotte Fergusson in Wandsworth, London, England.^[4] He was 24 years old.

The 1911 England and Wales Census shows the couple living in Battersea, London, England.^[5] John was 26 years old and working as a Painter in a House Decorator business.

John passed away in 1955 in Dartford, Kent, England.^[6] He was 70 years old.
