Frederick Axam was born in Islington, London, England.

Frederick was born in 1916 in Islington, London, England.^[1] He was the son of Frank Percy Axam and Catherine Willoughby.

Frederick's mother Catherine passed away in 1921 in Islington London, England. She was 30 years old.

Frederick's father Frank passed away in 1938 in St Pancras, London, England. He was 47 years old.

In 1939 Frederick married Phyllis Dulcie Isaac in Swansea, Glamorgan, Wales.^[2]

Frederick passed away on 2 November 1942 in El Alamein, Matruh, Egypt when serving as a Private in the Durham Light Infantry^[3] and was buried in the El Alamein War Cemetery^[4]. He was 26 years old.
