Emma Lillian Axford was born on 30 May 1906 at Kyogle, New South Wales, Australia[1], the daughter of John J and Clara Axford.
She married William Henry Durrant on 23 December 1933 in Lismore, New South Wales, Australia[2] and their children were Donald Durrant, Alan Durrant, Heather Durrant, Elaine Durrant, Margaret Durrant, Marlene Durrant and Ruth Durrant.
William died aged 52, on 15 August 1950, leaving Emma with 7 young children.
Emma married Albert Reuben Patch in 1955 at Lismore, New South Wales, Australia[3].
Emma died on 13 March 1998 at Kyogle, New South Wales, Australia, and was buried on 14 March 1998[4]at the Kyogle Cemetery, Kyogle, New South Wales, Australia where her first husband and son Alan were buried[5]. Even though her Death notice was under the name of Patch, she is buried with the name, Durrant.
