Biography

Annie Axner was born about 1857 in Sweden. She was the daughter of Lars Exner and Sarah Exner.

She immigrated on the 9th of September 1889 via the Steamship Pavonia of the Cunard line from Sweden to Boston.[1]

She married Even Olsen Vik on the 14th of April 1894[2] and became step-mother to his younger children.

Her second marriage was to Charles Freemont Groom on May 19th 1906 in Worcester, Massachusetts.[3][4] He was a widowed father of eight children. She again became a step-mother to his youngest children although most were married or deseased by this time.

Annie passed away in April of 1914 in Providence, Rhode Island at the age of fifty-seven.[5]
