Biography

Levi was born on 12 Feb 1882 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the son of Levi Axtell and Joanna Woodmansee. On 6 Dec 1906, he married Hilda Josephine Hylander (of Denmark). Levi passed away on 1 May 1957 in Los Angeles County, California, and was buried at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach, California

Levi was head of the Axtell Portable Hoist Company which marketed his own invention.
