b. 1779 at Sutton, Mass.; went with his father to Peru, Mass., about1800. Married Lovina Slocumb Dec. 8, 1802, at Sutton.[1][2] With his wife and children he moved to Albany, N.Y., in 1834; to Royalton, Niagara Co., N.Y., in1835; and to Lockport, N.Y., in 1838, where he was in business until his death in 1847. His wife died in 1855 in Albany, N.Y.[3]
