On 28 Nov 1924, George married Helen Prather (b. 1906, Hastings, Nebraska d/o Thomas A. Prather and Johanna Walker) in Hastings, Nebraska.^[1][4]

George ran an insurance business.^[1]

George passed away on 25 Dec 1937^[5] and was buried at airview Cemetery, Scottsbluff, Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska.^[6]
