On 17 Jan 1824, Joseph married Eliza Osman (d/o Nathan Osman and Mary _____ b. 6 Apr 1802). The couple settled near Geneseo, New York. Later, they moved to Genoa, Illinois, and thence to Juda, Wisconsin. Joseph worked in the stock business.[1] Joseph served as postmaster in Juda.[3]
Joseph passed away on 31 May 1873, [1] and was buried at Mount Vernon Cemetery, Juda, Green County, Wisconsin,[4] Elizabeth died 10 years later on 19 Apr 1883.
