On 17 Oct 1931, Charles married Mildred Rex (d/o Harry Rex and Bertha Shaw).^[1]

Charles worked for the Fairhaven Police Department, State Farm Insurance, and Brinks Detective Agency.^[1]

Charles passed away on 5 May 1998 in Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida.^[3], and was buried at ^[4]
