Biography
Francis was born May 8, 1825.
He married Mary Emeline Rosbrook, Apr. 6, 1849 at Portland, N.Y.
He was a blacksmith by trade. He served in the 34th Inf. in the Union Army and was wounded in the Battle of the Wilderness, dying at Staunton, Virginia on July 21, 1864.
His wife died Oct. 16, 1888, at Westfield, Mass., and was buried in Pine Hill Cemetery.
