Sarah was born in 1832 in Alabama. She was the daughter of Robert Axton and Tabitha Jordan. She married Isaac Jones and they had children including Nancy (Brewer), John Henry, James Lemuel and George Washington Jones. [1] Sarah passed away in 1888 and was buried in the Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Taylorsville, Smith County, Mississippi. [2]
