Died in Painesville, Monday, March 22, 1880, Aggie, aged 15 years, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Ayer.
So sudden and unexpected was the announcement of the death of Aggie that her numerous school friends and others were painfully shocked and grieved at so sad an intelligence. Her fair young face will be missed from the church choir where her voice seemed attuned to the sweetest melody and instead of joining in the Easter carol of earth, hers will be the happy privilege of joining in the 'new song' which they sing who are gathered at the River. God pity the agonized hearts of the bereaved parents in this sad affliction as do all who have tasted the bitter cup of sorrow. [1]
