Jonathan Ayers was born in Pakefield, Suffolk, England.

Jonathan was baptised in All Saints & St Margaret Pakefield on 29 September 1729, the son of John and Sarah Ayres.[1]

He married Alice Pasherly in St Michael Oulton on 24 March 1754.[2]

The couple had eight children:

He was buried in St Margaret Churchyard Lowestoft on 15 September 1773, age 42.[11]
