Biography
Eliza (Ayers) Chappelle is a part of US Black heritage.
Eliza was born about 1858. She passed away about 1899.
Miss Eliza Ayers married William David Chappelle on December 16, 1875. She was the daughter of Charley and Margaret Ayers. They would have 3 children, Lula K, Clottelle and William D Jr, prior to her death in 1899.[1]
In 1880 William and Eliza were living in Winnsboro, South Carolina where William was teaching school.[2]
