  • book on Arthur Aylsworth and his Descendants also shows a marriage to Caleb Gardner.
  • I think the Gardiners of Narrangansett is incorrect in that they show Caleb and Almy settled/resided in Stephentown, N.Y. This is based on their headstones in Gardner Cem, Hancock, Mass, for Cpt Caleb B. Gardner, 107945471 and "Almy Aylesworth wife of Cap Caleb B. Gardner" 107945524. I believe that FAG has the incorrect birth date of 1750 for Almy as a closer reading of the h/s appears to show aged 71 which would correspond to the birth date of 12/28/1739 as shown in GN.
