Does Rebecca have a profile I can attach as the parent?

John Marshall Aylett was not the son of Rebecca Waines. His mother was Rebecca Marshall who married John Charles (H)Aylett in 1859. They also had Eliza, Martha, William and Henry. The Marshall name carried on through the family. Henry’s son was christened George Marshall Aylett.

Hi Juliet...totally agree with you. This is Rebecca Waines/Waine Rebecca (Waines) Gilson (1828-1909). She married John Charles Aylett in 1853. This John Charles Aylett was born in Thundridge, Ware, Hertfordshire in 1831 (Son of James and Hannah Aylett). Rebecca Marshall, daughter of Daniel Marshall, married a different John Charles Aylett in 1859. The last name at birth needs to be changed to Marshall for his mother.
