Edward John Ayling is my 3rd cousin 2X removed. Father John Ayling born 1859 in St. Luke. London. His father Edward Ayling (1832-1895), born in Graffham, West Sussex. His father Henry Ayling born 1810 in East Dean, West Sussex. His father James Ayling (1775-1860), born in Woolavington (now East Lavington), deceased in Brighton, but returned to East Dean to be buried with his Mary and son Joseph. James is our ancestor in common. I descend from his second eldest son John Ayling (804-1890). See my Ancestry tree "Aylings of Graffham/Woolavington, West Sussex".
