Annie Hatfield Aylsworth attended Cinncinnati Wellesley College 1876-77. The college was incorporated 17 Mar 1870 as The Wellesley Female Seminary. It changed its name to Wellesley College, 7 Mar 1873. It opened to students 8 Sep 1875 so Annie was one of the first classes.[4]
In 1880, Annie H, 21, was living in Providence, Providence, RI with her parents, Hiram B, 49, and Margaret M, 49. Also in the household were Henry C, 23, Cora E, 20, Emma L, 17, and Mary, 15.[5]

They were living in the household of her widowed mother, Margaret Aylsworth, 20. Herbert and Annie had been married 19 years, she had given birth to 2 children, 1 still alive. Annie Aylsworth Greene died 3 Sep 1939 in San Francisco, CA at her residence, Canterbury Hotel. She was removed to Providence, RI for burial. She was married to Herbert Whipple Greene who preceded her in death. Her informant was her son, A. Crawford Aylsworth. Her cause of death was Arteriosclerotic heart disease and “Auricular fibrillation".[1] She was buried in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence, Providence, RI.[9]
