DEATH CLAIMS DANIEL AYRES
Prominent Farmer of Waymansville Neighborhood Dies.
Daniel Richard Ayres, 75, died at noon yesterday at his home at Waymansville. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning at the Mt. Health Methodist church, with burial in the Sutherland cemetery in Jackson county.
Mr. Ayres was born Feb. 26, 1855, in Jackson township, and spent practically all his life in that part of the county. A wife and daughter died 30 years ago. Surviving are the following children: Jesse Ayres, Cortland; Ray Ayres, Logansport; Clell, Clancy, Cleve and Carmel Ayres, at home, and Herman Ayres, of Madison.[31]
