Sarah Gale was born 4 May 1830 and baptised at Ipswich, St Nicholas on 8 June 1830. She was the daughter of George and Sarah. Their residence was Rushmere.[1][2]
She married James Keeble on 4 March 1856 at Quay Meeting House, Woodbridge, Suffolk. James was recorded as a 'horse driver' and Sarah, a 'gentlewoman'.[3][4]
In the 1871 census Sarah (age about 49) was living in Tuddenham, Suffolk, England.[5]
Research Notes
This profile was previously conflated with Sarah Ayres who married a different James Keeble and died in Kingston, Tasmania.
James Keeble (b1822 in Rushmere, Suffolk) married Sarah GALE (b1831 in Rushmere, Suffolk) - they are the couple who appear in the 1871 census given as a source (Sarah's age mistranscribed as 49 instead of 40). The Kingston death details appeared to have been added in error due to the similar names and ages and were removed.
