Sarah Ayres was born 22 Feb. 1704/05 probably in Newport, Essex Co., Massachsetts, the daughter of John Ayres and Ruth (Browne) Ayres. ^[1] On 3 Aug. 1729 she published an intention in Lynn, Massachusetts to marry Richard Collins, son of Joseph Collins. ^[1] Sarah Ayres married Richard Collins in Salem, Massachusetts two months later on 9 Oct 1729. ^{[1] [2] [3]}
