Biography
When Mary Aiken Babbitt was born on September 13, 1826, in Gagetown, New Brunswick, Canada, her father, Thomas, was 31, & her mother, Elizabeth, was 26. Mary was baptisted by Rev. Samuel Clarke in 1826 at the Gagetown Anglican Church, Gagetown, Queens, New Brunswick, Canada. Mary Aiken Babbitt was married in New Brunswick, Canada, on November 20, 1845, when she was 19 years old. tp Edward Emerson Berry. They had 11 children in 21 years. She died on April 26, 1890, in Stoneham, Massachusetts, at the age of 63.
