Biography

George Ketchum Babcock, born 18 Jun 1836 at Bridgewater, New York, Was the third child of Oliver R. Babcock and Sarah Ann Brown [1].

He married 7 Mar 1872 Alice Coolidge (abt.1836-), with whom he had 2 children [2]:

  1. Mary H. (Babcock) Smith (1876-); married Lafayette Smith
  2. Jessie Babcock (1879-1897)

In 1875 and 1880 this family resided in New Hartford, Oneida County, New York [3],[4].

George Ketchum Babcock died 31 Jul 1896 in Nashville, Tennessee.
