Biography
Laura was born in 1815. She was the daughter of Ezra Babcock and Hannah Brown. She married Benjamin Gorton who d. 1845 and they had a daughter Laura Plasentia Gorton; she married Jerome Murphy of Rochester, N.Y. and they had a daughter C.H. Paine. Laura passed away in 1845.
