Biography
Gideon was born in 1777. He was the son of Gideon Babcock and Mary Chesebrough.
He married at Newport, R.I., 22 Apr 1803 Sarah Sayer, w/children;
- Gideon C., b.17 Feb 1804, m. Phebe Noyes.
- Sarah, b. Boston, d. in infancy.
- Mary Ann, b. 27 Nov 1808, m. Stephen Collins.
He passed away in 1809.
