Biography
Duane was born in 1841. He is the son of George Babcock and Mary Richards.
He served during the Civil War Army , mustered in 9 Aug 1862 as a Private, Co. B, 117th Reg, N.Y. He was discharged, July 4, 1863 Ft. Baker, Md. due to disability.
He married 14 Jun 1867 Rosalie Wickham, w/ children;
- Glen Le Roy, b.18 Aug 1871, m. Bessie J. Gates.
- Susan Rosalie, b. 16 Aug 1873.
