Edith was the daughter of Silas E. Babcock and Betsey Rogers. She was raised in Sag Harbor, Suffolk, New York. On the 1870 census she was listed as Deaf and Dumb. [1] She married George Hubbard in 1893. [2] Their children were:

Annie Hubbard Hawkins 1900 -
They lived in Islip, Suffolk, New York. [3] Edith died in 1911[4] and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Bay Shore, Suffolk County, New York. [5]
