I am not sure if the death date provided on this comment of July 2 1839 was mistranscribed to read July 2 1739 on this profile. Looks like a mistake of some sort, but I am not sure whether this date relates to this profile given this fellow was born about 1681. Maybe we just don't know his death date?

Babcock-1670 and Babcock-847 appear to represent the same person because: same name, same birth date, same time frame, same location, Sarah Brown is the mother of Jane Crandall Babcock's husband, I believe.
